Please confirm the following:
Avoid using a power splitter Power splitters can cause unstable power supply and lead to malfunctions.
Check power cable connection Make sure the cable is firmly connected and not loose. If using a fuse-tap power cable, confirm the wiring:
Red wire: ACC power
Yellow wire: Constant power
Black wire: Ground (connect to metal surface)
Test with power bank or USB power source (2A or higher) Use a USB power source with 2A output or more to see if the device powers on normally.
This issue is often caused by a problem with the SD card. Please try the following steps:
Turn off the dashcam and remove the SD card.→ Then turn the mirror dash cam back on without the SD card and check if the touchscreen responds normally.
If the issue improves after removing the SD card, the SD card may be the cause. Please try the following:
Format the SD card using your computer (FAT32 format).
Or replace it with a new Class 10 or higher SD card.
For AS-J3 model:
Please check the wiring diagram in the user manual and ensure that the front camera is correctly connected to the dedicated front camera port on the main unit.
⚠️ Important: Do not connect the front camera to the split GPS port on the power cable. Incorrect connection may cause the camera to malfunction.
For other models:
Please try removing the rear camera first, then check if the front camera image appears.
In rare cases, the front camera may not display properly due to interference from the rear camera.
Please try the following steps:
Check the rear camera connection. Make sure the cable is securely and fully inserted into the rear camera and is not loose.
If using a separate-type model: The front and rear cameras may interfere with each other. Try removing the front camera and check if the rear camera displays correctly.
Try a different power source. Use a mobile battery or a USB power source with an output of 2A or higher, and check if the rear camera works properly.
Please check if the protective films on the front and rear camera lenses have been removed.
⚠ In some cases, transparent protective films are applied to the lenses at the time of shipping. If not removed, the image may appear washed out or colors may look distorted.
Please go through the following checklist:
Remove protective film from the lens Ensure that the transparent film on the front or rear camera lens has been completely removed. If left on, it may block incoming light and cause the image to appear dark.
Check rear camera placement If installed inside the vehicle, tinted windows or privacy films with low light transmittance may affect image brightness. Try mounting the camera outside the vehicle if possible (excluding models designed for in-car use only).
Check for obstructions Ensure that no parts of the vehicle or objects such as luggage are partially covering the camera lens.
Check for backlighting conditions Strong backlight can cause the video to look dark. Try adjusting the camera angle or improving the ambient lighting if possible.
Please try the following steps:
Check the camera lens Make sure the lens is clean and not scratched. Dirt or smudges on the lens can cause light to scatter and lead to overexposure. Gently clean the lens with a soft cloth.
Adjust the rear camera angle If headlights from vehicles behind shine directly into the camera, it may cause overexposure. Try adjusting the camera angle slightly downward to avoid direct light from headlights.
This may be caused by an issue with the SD card. Please follow these steps:
1.Format your current SD card using a computer (FAT32 format recommended).
※Note: Formatting will erase all data, so please back up any necessary files beforehand.
2.If the issue persists after formatting, please try a new SD card, Class 10 or higher.
Slower cards or aged SD cards may not support proper video recording and could lead to errors.
